The inspiring trek around Manaslu is one of the classic treks in all of Nepal.Manaslu Circuit Trail is an ancient salt-trading route along the wild rapids of the Budi Gandhaki River; discover the splendor of pine, bamboo and rhododendron forests. The trail beyond the Budhi Gandaki is one of the most difficult routes with huge amounts of ascent and descent as we trek up and down over ridges and onto shelves to bypass cliffs. The inhabitants of Upper Budhi Gandaki region are Nupris, who are direct descendents of Tibetan. The trail is rough and steep and at times literally hangs on a buff high above the river with its many bridges. Trek over a breathtaking high mountain pass – Larkya La (5125m), walk over glacial terrain and discover Manaslu, the 8th highest peak in the world is known as the mountain of the spirit. This trek is geographically spectacular and culturally fascinating. The views of Manaslu and other neighboring peaks form Larkya La Pass are beyond tantalizing. The Manaslu Trek itinerary is one of the many possibilities. The trek can be made longer or shorter depending on the length of your walking day and starting point. There are basis guesthouses all along the Manaslu trail so you can choose if you would to camp or stay at the tea houses/guest houses. It is also possible to combine Manaslu Circuit trek with Tsum Valley, a beautiful, secluded valley where century old Tibetan traditions prevail.
